What divisions are offered?
Flag - 7/8U, 9/10U, 11/12U
7v7 - 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U & HS(No Seniors)
*some odd divisions in 7v7 may be merged with one age above ie such as 9U playing with 10U at times
How are divisions determined ?
Athlete's age will be based on the age that they are on January 1st, 2026
What are the dates of the season?
The flag season will run from December 13th to February 21st. We will have No Games on December 27th, January 3rd, or February 14th.
The 7v7 season will run from December 6 to January 10, 2027. Dates of play are December 6th, Dec 13th, January 3rd & January 10th.
Where and when will practices be?
Practices will begin the week of November 9th. Flag will have one 90 min practice a week. 7v7 will have two practices a week. Practice will be held at Preston Hollow Park and a tentative practice schedule will be emailed once closer to the registration deadline. Flex Practices (a practice with a grade equal to, up or down from your athletes respected grade if you can't make your original team practice) are available for those with conflicts.
When and where will games be played?
Flag - Games are played on Sundays at Ulete’s indoor/outdoor turf facility between 1:30-8:30PM.
7v7 - Games are played on Sundays at Reedy High School between 12:00-5:00PM.
How many games are in the season?
Flag - 7-8 games guaranteed (Playoffs February 7th & 21st)
7v7 - 8 Games guaranteed (Playoffs January 10th)
Are there tryouts?
We do NOT hold tryouts for our RECREATIONAL TEAMS. These teams are open registration and players will be rostered to a team after our placement practice evaluations. Placement practice evaluations only take place if the amount of registrants surpass league roster maximum. Our teams are not pre-determined and players are not guaranteed to play on the same team as the previous season. All effort will be made to find teams for those that want to play.
Will any teams play in Tournaments?
Our recreational league teams do not participate in tournaments. If your athlete is interested in tournaments, please see our AO Select info page for more information on how to tryout for one of our tournament teams.
How do I order a uniform?
Uniform will be invoiced and ordered once season registration closes. Uniform order is not part of registration fees. All new players will need to purchase a uniform. Soft shell helmets are required to play 7v7 and highly recommended for flag. AO practice shorts and practice top are optional and can be purchased at Not Just Soccer in Highland Park.
When is registration deadline?
November 30th
